Brunch time had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant it was fresh, hot, and not salty. Other places can overdo meal size this was perfect. Nice staff and clean restaurant.

Just happened upon North Bay Cafe searching for a breakfast place in Petaluma (we're from Novato). We were pleasantly surprised, greatly so. Great menu, with vegetarian options and the breakfast "basics." Outstanding service - friendly and attentive. Clean, comfortable environment. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Not up to Petaluma too often, but this is a nice hidden gem. Really good food, excellent service, decent location and space; just a really great spot for breakfast food and/or coffee/tea.
Amazing food....can't believe we hadn't been here before. Nice spacious cafe, friendly service and GREAT food (big variety). They even have Taylor Lane coffee! I'd say it's one of the best breakfast spots in town.
I was expecting somewhat of a busy restaurant but it was actually pretty dead for 9 AM on a Saturday morning There were many things on the menu that sounded good but I'm not really doing white carbs right now so I was able to limit my choices easily. This seems like a family business and I felt right at home with a nice greeting and friendly interactions with the various staff. I ended up ordering the egg plate with ham and fruit. I mentioned that I wasn't interested in the toast or dollar cakes and my waitress asked if I'd like more fruit. I said "yes" and "thanks very much!". Although the ham was a bit bland (I should be grateful that it wasn't too salty), there was a ton of food and I was pretty full when I left. I would definitely recommend North Bay Cafe for breakfast and I would try them for lunch too!
Once they used to have organic ketchup in this place, first rate ! Now they've downgraded to "fancy..." But still Great service. Great location. No downsides to this wonderful restaurant except for the Smuckers (high fructose corn syrup) jelly they serve PLUS fresh-squeezed orange juice. Wowza.
Very open dining area. We ordered Breakfast Quesedea and Eggs Benedict. The restaurant itself was well maintained. The tables, chairs, and tableware were very clean. The servers were very friendly and attentive.
